Joel Gill, PhD researcher, comes from United Kingdom. He is founder and director of Geology for Global Development (GfGD). He is member of the IAPG-International Association for Promoting Geoethics.
Joel was among the participants of the first session on Geoethics organized at EGU in 2012, and this year he will be convener of the session NH9.8 on Geoethics for the first time. In the session NH9.8, he is also co-author with Rosalie Tostevin of an oral presentation titled "Equipping students to contribute to development through a geohazards education and research programme (Ladakh, India)" (Tuesday, 29 Apr 2014 - Room: G6, 16:15–16:30).
