Yuriy Kostyuchenko comes from Ukraine. Despite the dramatical situation in his country, he will be able to join us in Vienna for the session NH9.8.
Yuriy is Assistant Professor of Remote Sensing and Geoinformatics at the Geomorphology & Earth Science Department, Faculty of Geography, Shevchenko Kiev National University.
He is research scientist at the Scientific Centre for Aerospace Research of the Earth - National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine
He is founder and responsible of the Ukrainian section of the IAPG-International Association for Promoting Geoethics.
He is convener of a session on Geoethics at EGU General Assembly for the first time.
In the session NH9.8, Yuriy is co-author with Dmytro Movchan of an oral presentation titled "Risk perception as the quantitative parameter of ethics and responsibility in disaster study" (Tuesday, 29 Apr 2014 - Room: G6, 13:30–13:45).
