Eduardo Marone comes from Brazil. He is Associate Professor at the Federal University of Paraná (Braz, Director of the Centre for Marine Studies and Director of the Operational Centre of the International Ocean Institute for the South Atlantic.
Eduardo is founder and responsible of the Brazilian section of the IAPG-International Association for Promoting Geoethics.
He is convener of a session on Geoethics at EGU General Assembly for the first time.
In the session NH9.8, Eduardo is co-author with Ricardo Camargo and Julio Salcedo Castro of an oral presentation titled "Marine Extremes and Natural Hazards: when the key is variability" (Tuesday, 29 Apr 2014 - Room: G6, 13:45–14:00).
He is also co-author with Juliane Castro Carneiro, Márcio Cintra, Andréa Ribeiro, Denis Cardoso, and Carol Stellfeld, of a poster titled "Extreme sea-levels, coastal risks and climate changes: lost in translation" (Tuesday, 29 Apr 2014 - Blue posters, 17:30–19:00).
