A joint symposium IAPG-GSL-EFG-EGS at the 35th IGC
CALL FOR ABSTRACTS



Colleagues are invited to submit abstracts for the Symposium "Geoethical perspectives on meeting the resource needs of future generations" that will take place in Cape Town (South Africa) at the 35th IGC - International Geological Congress. The congress will be held from 27 August to 4 September 2016. The deadline for submitting an abstract is 31 January 2016.

This symposium is a joint initiative by the International Association for Promoting Geoethics (IAPG), the Geological Society of London (GSL), the European Federation of Geologists (EFG) and the EuroGeoSurvey (EGS).

This symposium is organized under the Theme: "Resourcing Future Generations" - Core Topic: "Geoscience in the economy" and will be convened by Silvia Peppoloni (IAPG), Nic Bihlam (GSL), Vitor Correia (EFG), Luca Demicheli (EGS).
